Sometimes communication becomes an art in itself—one that preserves traditions, shares expertise, and fosters meaningful cultural exchange. Guided by this vision, JETRO, the Japan External Trade Organization, entrusted DAG Communication’s Food Team with the organization and promotion of a high-level training initiative for fine dining chefs and Michelin-starred restaurants, following the successful collaboration at Identità Golose 2025. JETRO sought a strategic partner capable of transforming a professional training programme into an opportunity to strengthen its institutional positioning and reinforce its presence within the Italian culinary landscape.

DAG Communication responded by creating an exclusive platform for dialogue and knowledge sharing. Over the course of three intensive sessions, more than 50 chefs and culinary professionals trained under the guidance of Master Hirotoshi Ogawa, Director of the World Sushi Skills Institute and one of the world’s leading authorities on the art of sushi. The event was designed as a contemporary bridge between Japanese craftsmanship and Italian culinary excellence, turning technical expertise into a compelling story and a universal language of culture.
To maximise the initiative’s impact, DAG Communication developed and executed a dedicated PR and media relations strategy. Every invitation was carefully curated to bring together a highly selected audience of chefs, leading food publications, and industry opinion leaders, creating valuable opportunities for dialogue with the media. The masterclass was subsequently covered by journalist Stefano Montibeller on IdentitàGolose.it, highlighting its most significant insights and moments.
The initiative welcomed more than 44 chefs and generated an overall media reach of over 5 million people, demonstrating that the true value of a project lies in the strength of the relationships it creates and the network it brings together.
