Art across multiple locations, interactive forms of expression, and a network of academic institutions: our Lifestyle team welcomes COM.unità dell’Arte Diffusa, known as C.O.M., an acronym for City Open Museum, to its client portfolio. This new assignment will see DAG Communication support a project dedicated to promoting Italy’s artistic heritage and creating new opportunities for interaction between art and its audiences.
Funded through Italy’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), C.O.M. brings together 18 academic institutions, led by the Accademia di Belle Arti di Carrara. The project develops a nationwide model of distributed art, combining transmedia, multimodal, and interactive approaches through a programme of free events, exhibitions, and installations across Italy.
DAG Communication will manage media relations and social media communications through an integrated strategy designed to enhance the project’s visibility both nationally and within the territories involved. The aim will be to build awareness around C.O.M., promote its programme of events, and explore their content while highlighting the artistic value of each initiative and the contributions of the participating collectives and artists.
Our communications activity will follow the project’s different forms of expression, identifying stories, themes, and media angles and translating them into social content that showcases the artworks, the people behind them, and the opportunities for audiences to take part.
National communications will provide an overall view of C.O.M., while local activities will strengthen the connection between each initiative, the communities involved, and the places hosting them.
At the heart of our work will be the ambition to make the programme recognisable, accessible, and engaging, helping audiences discover the opportunities offered by its exhibitions, events, and installations. Free admission is also an important part of this positioning, supporting wider access and participation.
Through this collaboration, our Lifestyle team further expands its work in cultural communications, supporting an academic network that brings art into diverse settings and invites audiences to explore new languages, forms, and experiences.
We are delighted to support this journey, helping increase the visibility of C.O.M., its protagonists, and the territories involved.
