A new collaboration expands our work in international communications. Salerno Container Terminal (SCT) has appointed DAG Communication to develop its communications strategy for China, with the aim of strengthening its visibility and highlighting its role as a logistics hub and strategic container terminal for trade between China and Europe.
The brief includes the development of a dedicated digital strategy, the management of SCT’s presence on WeChat and the creation of content specifically designed for the Chinese market. Starting from SCT’s identity and business objectives, the project will build a consistent and distinctive digital presence tailored to the characteristics of the local digital ecosystem.
Our work will begin by identifying the themes and messages most relevant to the company’s stakeholders in China. SCT’s role in trade connections between Asia and Europe, the terminal’s distinctive features and the value of its services will form the basis of communications designed to increase awareness of the company and strengthen its positioning within the logistics sector.
WeChat will play a central role in the strategy. Through ongoing platform management and dedicated content planning, we will build a consistent presence over time, using formats, language and content relevant to the Chinese market while creating new opportunities to engage with SCT’s professional audiences.
Communicating in China means going beyond simply translating or adapting content developed for other markets. It requires an understanding of local audiences, platform dynamics and the cultural and professional codes through which companies and stakeholders build relationships.
rk comes in: translating SCT’s positioning and business value into a strategy designed to engage with the Chinese market, while preserving the company’s identity and adapting its communications to the local context.
We are pleased to support Salerno Container Terminal on this journey, bringing our experience in communications in China to a project that connects logistics, international trade and the development of new markets.
