Who

American Hardwood Export Council is the government organization that promotes the knowledge of the use of American wood in the world, through events, content, and relationships.

The association gives voice to American exporters of wood and the main trade associations in the United States in over 50 export markets. In the name of environmental sustainability, AHEC runs a program for the promotion of all US forests hardwood species, such as red and white oak, ash, tulipwood, maple, hickory, cherry and many others. The program is supported by the joint commitment of the American hardwood industry and the FAS (Foreign Agricultural Service of the US Department of Agriculture- USDA), aims to ensure potential buyers a quality product and a competitive response to the grown global demand for wood products.

What

The public relations agency DAG Communication will be the press office in charge for media relations for the American Hardwood Export Council (AHEC) in Italy throughout 2016. Headquartered in Washington and with six international offices located at the most influential markets, the American Hardwood Export Council (AHEC) promotes the different species of American hardwoods globally.
