The agency for regional tourism, Pugliapromozione, organizes an event series for tourism sector operators in order to present one of the most beautiful regions of Italy and to make its offer known.

Apulia starts its BuyPuglia Tour 2019 in the major European capitals and cities, with Prague as the first destination. The tour has been organized by Pugliapromozioni, the agency for local tourism for the Mediterranean region of southern Italy.

The Aim of the BuyPuglia Tour is to make sector professionals live in first place Apulia and to emphasize the large range of touristic offers in this region like accommodations, services, connections and initiatives for leisure travel, as well as opportunities for the MICE and Wedding segments.

Activities and Results

DAG Communication oversaw the communication and management of BuyPuglia Tour for Prague, Frankfurt, Moscow, Vilnius, Madrid and Barcelona. An overview and coordination of the local agencies, the filtration of the key message, the detection of the most compatible journalists and the most important magazines and newspapers of the sector, the editing of the press kit, of technical sheets and of save the dates in Italian and English were included for these destinations.

Furthermore, DAG created the press releases and organized the mailing, pre and post event, for every destination, as well as the management of the media partners with local Media Trade to promote the event with banners and advertisements in newspapers and DEM.
