Edoardo Tresoldi is a 32-year-old italian sculptor, mainly known for the creation of environmental installations in wire mesh. Edoardo achieved international success thanks to his work of reconstruction of the Basilica paleocristiana di Siponto; this notoriety allowed him to be included in the list of the most important under-30 european artists on Forbes. Edoardo Tresoldi’s sculptures are temporary and provide a three-dimensional experience that allows the visitor to live a unique moment between past, present and future. His new “Sacral” sculpture is currently exhibited at the National Museum of Science and Technology “Leonardo da Vinci” in Milan. The project wants to create a dialogue between contemporary art and classical architecture, proving to be an innovative work through the interaction between exterior and interior that is created thanks to the structure made of wire mesh.
