On the occasion of SpaceX\u2019s IPO, we supported appearances by Giancarlo Giudici, Co-Director of the Executive Program in Finance at POLIMI Graduate School of Management, on Class CNBC\u2019s special coverage of the listing and on Focus Economia, the Radio 24 programme from Il Sole 24 Ore Group.<\/div>\n

SpaceX\u2019s Nasdaq debut on 12 June 2026 marked a significant milestone in the relationship between financial markets and innovation. The initial public offering generated approximately $85.7 billion in net proceeds for the company, including the full exercise of the underwriters\u2019 option to purchase additional shares. It was an exceptionally large transaction for a company whose activities span space exploration, connectivity and artificial intelligence.<\/div>\n
A central focus was the relationship between the group\u2019s business prospects and investor expectations. Strong demand for its shares and the valuation assigned to the company prompted discussion about the markets\u2019 ability to anticipate future growth and the risks associated with particularly ambitious scenarios.<\/div>\n
